How does BitePatch work?

BitePatch uses trans-dermal grid technology to raise the epidermis (the top layer of skin) from the dermis (the second layer of skin) to relieve irritation. BitePatch uses a mechanical mechanism of action and doesn't rely on chemicals to work.

How long does it take for the patches to work?

Some people will experience instant relief and others may take a little longer.

How big are the patches?

Each BitePatch is 0.78 x 1.06 inches (20mm x 27mm). Small enough to be discreet and adequately cover a bite.

How long do the patches stay on for?

Approximately 4 - 7 days after which they will peel off easily. You can remove at any time and they will stay on in the shower, bath or pool.

Will they cause an allergic reaction?

BitePatch is latex free. Each patch is coated with a skin friendly acrylate adhesive so there should be no reason for an allergic reaction.

Do the patches work as a mosquito repellent?

They do not repel any insects. Instead, they work quickly to provide itch relief on any bites you may have.

Are there any side effects?

There should be no side effects. People with sensitive skin may experience a mild skin irritation. If in doubt, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Is BitePatch safe for children to use?

Yes! BitePatch is easy for kids to apply themselves. It contains no latex, medicines or chemicals unlike many sprays and lotions. We advise supervision for young children as they can be a choking hazard.

For items in stock at the time of order, dispatch will be made within two working days of receipt of an order. Complete Medical Kits will take an extra day or two to supply.

For items not in stock at the time of order we will provide an expected dispatch date from our premises as soon as this information is available.

Please ensure that you supply us with your full and correct shipping address. A physical street address is required and PO Box or Private Bag numbers are not acceptable. If you have any special delivery instructions please advise when placing your order. We cannot accept responsibility for orders that go missing if the address details you have provided to us are incorrect. If you supply us with a false address we will not ship the products. If you fail to supply a valid address after 7 days we will cancel your order.

Orders received on a day which is not an ordinary working day (i.e. a Saturday, Sunday or pubic holiday) will be processed on the following working day.

All orders are given a tracking number so that we can identify where the products are if there is a delay in receipt of goods.

We cannot guarantee a delivery time but we will do everything we can to get your products to you in a timely fashion. Delivery may take up to 5 working days, depending on your location. Items may take longer to get to you during busy periods and public holidays
